You—the nurse who keeps showing up. The nurse who is proud of your path, but quietly asking: What’s next for me?

Whether you are filled with ambition or simply tuning in for the first time in a while…

This letter is from me to you. It is personal. It is your invitation to pause, reflect, and listen inward—before planning your own move.

⏩What Does Bold Look Like for Me?

You see the posts. The updates. The announcements.

• Another nurse left the hospital and stepped into a leadership role.

• Another colleague got a job away from the bedside, or started a company!

• Another nursing-school classmate started a consulting business or got published or earned a new credential.

You are happy for them. You really are.

But still… you pause.

You wonder: How did they know what to do? How did they get there? What do they have that I don’t?

Here’s another way to look at it:

• You are not behind.

• You are not less.

• You are not missing the moment.

You are, however, waking up.

Watching others make bold moves does not mean you are stuck. It means you are aware. It means something inside you is stirring. It means your next chapter is or may be calling and you are finally close enough to hear it.

Not all bold moves start with certainty. Some begin with curiosity. Some begin in silence. Some, begin in the moment you realize you are not content to just watch anymore.

This is not a race. You do not need to prove anything. But if you're feeling that tug, that shift that spark — then maybe it’s your turn to ask:

• What does bold look like for me?

• What would I choose if I trusted myself more than the timeline?

Your move doesn’t have to look like theirs. In fact, it should not.

Because your career isn’t behind — it’s waiting.

And you? You’re not watching anymore.

You’re preparing.
